Yaro Starak wrote a great post listing the 10 tactics to make your blog stand out.

Yaro know a lot about that because he teaches how to build a profitable blog. You will need to start a blog and be consistent. You will also need to build a foundation of articles (or posts) that will be sticky and ever green. Then you launch your blog and start promoting with various methods like commenting on other people’s blogs, twitter marketing, video marketing and more.

I have my own experience with blogs especially www.thedailymac.com and i posted daily there but i was not passionate about that topic and abandoned it.

Leason learned, follow your passion and you will be on the right path.

I will leave you with Yaro’s post about 10 tactics to make your blog stand out

Once you have a decent list of suscribers and customers you can opt for all the analytics tools on aweber or just use another service that can segment with actions. This is actually the key to maximize profits with your existing email list, you don’t need to get traffic (but i recommend you to always do that) and this will work.

A post on aweber blog remembered me of how important is to segment your list to create loyalty and raving fans that spend more when you talk directly to them.

When you talk directly to them they feel special and have belonging with your brand and enterprise. When people spend more in your business they will have more sucess so help them do that with segmenting your high paying customers and your customers that are on the fence on the introduction to your products or services.

I just commented on shoemoney’s blog about the Google AD that was aired on the Superbowl named
“Parisian Love”.

I first got to watch it on youtube because in live in Mexico and there are different ads so my first impression was
a little of why do you spend so much money in that kind of ad showing only typing characters and all that?

But the important thing is the story and the user experience, the story telling and the psychology of a google searcher.

Google knows a lot of their customers and actually they saw that kind of behavior of some of the history of their users.

Maybe google has a lot more info than you think, thats why these commercial is going viral, and the superbowl was the plataform of launching this virus. An idea virus like Seth Godin coined that phrase is an idea that is easily spreadable and has something worth sharing, and this ad is an example of that.

What do you think about the ad?

Comment and share!

This is a great post at John Chow Dot Com Blog.

It’s crucial to have a blog and have your own home on the social media circle. When you have a blog you own all that you post and nobody has control over that, so a blog it’s a must have. You can then share to other parts like Twitter and Facebook via your blog.

I like to post on this blog and then share it through the social circles and syndicate all the content around here.

These blog posts talks about a not so known way to get up and running with your wordpress blog in 15 minutes.

You only need 20 dollars to do these and you are set to go!

Start posting

Easy peasy :)

Steve Jobs Showing the iPad

Steve Jobs Showing the iPad

I just commented on a post on Entrepreneurs Journey and it’s an interesting post.

The post talks about the future of the way we interact with music, video and newspapers. These is interesting to all the marketers and all the ways that these technology can help us teach people about marketing online. I think that these are ways of the old media adapting to the new digital age, but these are the first steps in that direction.

Newspaper took a great hit, or if you may want a death blow that got him really injured and it’s now understanding and learning to adapt. And maybe after these great hit, becomes faster and stronger.

For one moment i thought i was on a technology blog, but Yaro made an important point. We are in the technology market too, so we need to keep up with the rapid phase of the internet and adapt and use tools that presents to us for our best presentation of our content.
